Reading adult sibling support group

SIBS, a national charity for brothers and sisters and adults and children with disabilities, is setting up a new support group in Reading.

  • Do you have a brother or a sister who has a lifelong learning disability and/or autism?
  • Would you like to meet others with similar experiences?
  • Come along to our support group and gain information and support as a sibling.

Disability Awareness Funday

Reading’s Physical Disability and Sensory Needs Partnership Network (PDSN) is hosting its annual Disability Awareness with a wide range of activities on offer for all age groups and abilities, including seated Tai Chi taster sessions, Messy Club arts and crafts, pampering sessions and hand massages.

Reading’s Mayor, Cllr Debs Edwards, will officially open the event at 11am.

There is limited parking available at the venue but there are several buses which stop directly outside the centre, including the 27, 29 and 923.
